Kim Cattrall

  Kim Victoria Cattrall ( born 21 August 1956) is an British and Canadian actor from Canada and the UK. Her character in the role of Samantha Jones in HBO's Sex and the City (1998-04) brought her five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations. The actress also won the 2002 Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress. She reprised her similar role on the films Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010).



 



 Cattrall's first film appearance was in Rosebud (1975) in the film Rosebud (1975), and she continued to appear in various roles on television. In the 1980s, Cattrall rose to prominence through films like Ticket to Heaven (1981), Police Academy (1984) and City Limits (1985), Big Trouble in Little China(86), Mannequin (87), Mannequin (1987), Masquerade (1888), Midnight Crossing (1988) and The Return of the Musketeers (1989).
